WebbSandlashed isn't particularly useful for extending Jareg's def+ unless you don't book her so her cooldown is also 4 turns and you run her at the same rate of turns as Jareg (as in, if she is at 3 turns cd and he's at 4, then they will be a lot harder to sync up well...not impossible by any means but it's not just plug and play).
